How to dress for Fall Horseback Riding:
*90% of the time is colder out here in the county than it is in town*

•GLOVES• Thin to win! It’s not about waterproof or insulation during the fall months. Just having a layer over those fingers will keep them warm, plus it’s easier to tack up in thin gloves.
•EARS• Cover those ears! If it’s a thin hat that’ll fit under your helmet or a lined headband. Keeping your ears covered will keep you much more cozy!
•NECK• I never go riding without a Scarf/Neck-warmer these days! It’s crazy how keeping your neck warm keeps your whole body warm!
•WIND• North Dakota wind can be chilly, so wear a jacket or something wind resistant. Stopping that wind from ripping though you with wind resistant clothing and/or layers underneath is the key!
•SOCKS• Thick tall socks make the world of a difference!! If thick socks don’t fit in your boots, tall thin socks are great too. Try it, you’ll be surprised by the difference it makes!
•LAYERS• Bring More! You can always take off, but you can’t put on what you don’t have with you!

We never want riding to be uncomfortable and of course want to get as much riding time in as we can!! So come prepared and it’ll make riding horse that much better???
